Credits and billing
Kloria runs on prepaid credits, with no subscription and no commitment. You top up your balance, and each request uses part of it depending on the model and the number of tokens.
What a credit is worth
Section titled “What a credit is worth”1 credit = $1 of usage, at the rate shown for each model on Models and pricing. A model at “2 / 10” costs 2 credits per million input tokens and 10 per million output tokens.
| Pack | Price | Price per credit | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 credits | €49.99 | €0.50 | |
| 200 credits | €94.99 | €0.47 | 5% |
| 500 credits | €224.99 | €0.45 | 10% |
In practice, the 100-credit pack gives you the equivalent of $100 of API usage.
Topping up
Section titled “Topping up”- In the console, open Wallet.
- Pick a pack, then pay by card.
- Your balance is credited as soon as the payment is confirmed.
If you were given a top-up code, enter it on the same page under Have a Code?, then Redeem.
Tracking usage
Section titled “Tracking usage”- Wallet: your current balance.
- Usage Logs: each request with its model, input and output tokens, and cost. That’s the reference if you have a doubt about a charge.
- Dashboard: usage over time, by model.
Capping spend per key
Section titled “Capping spend per key”Each key can have its own quota. Once reached, the key is refused with a 403 error, even if your overall balance isn’t used up. It’s the best safeguard against a looping script or a leaked key.
To set it: API Keys, edit the key, Quota Settings section.
When your balance runs out
Section titled “When your balance runs out”Requests are refused with a 403 error whose message mentions the quota. There’s no subscription and no automatic charge: nothing tops up without you. Top up to resume.
During the beta
Section titled “During the beta”Pricing and the model list may change during the beta. The rate applied to a request is the one in effect when it’s made. A question about a charge? Write to contact@kloria.dev with the time of the request: we’ll find the line in the logs.
